A24 has unveiled the latest trailer for its upcoming action film, 'Civil War,' offering audiences a glimpse into the chaos that awaits in this original cinematic experience. The trailer opens with a powerful speech from the President, portrayed by Nick Offerman, rallying citizens to stand against the secession of the Florida alliance and the Western forces of Texas and California from the United States.

The preview showcases intense battle scenes set in iconic locations such as New York City and Washington, D.C., with a particularly striking moment featuring a rocket launch destroying the Lincoln Memorial. 'Civil War' is both written and directed by Alex Garland, known for his work on acclaimed films like 'Ex Machina' and 'Annihilation,' as well as screenplays for hits such as '28 Days Later' and 'Dredd.'

The film stars Kirsten Dunst as a war photographer, alongside a talented ensemble cast including Offerman, Wagner Moura, Cailee Spaeny, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Jesse Plemons, and Sonoya Mizuno. Produced by A24 in collaboration with Gregory Goodman and DNA's Andrew Macdonald and Allon Reich, 'Civil War' was initially rumored to have a runtime exceeding three hours. However, A24 has confirmed a more concise 1 hour and 49-minute duration for the feature.

Unlike some of A24's more limited releases, 'Civil War' is set for a nationwide premiere on April 12, with plans for screenings in premium large-format Imax theaters. Fans can anticipate a thrilling and immersive cinematic experience as they witness the unfolding drama of 'Civil War' on the big screen.

For those eager to delve deeper into the world of 'Civil War,' the new trailer offers a tantalizing glimpse of the conflict and intrigue that await. Stay tuned for the film's release and prepare to be swept up in the epic tale of loyalty, betrayal, and the fight for unity in a divided nation.
