A Place In The Sun's Jean Johansson 'thrown' by 'moany' buyers who refused to see property

A Place In The Sun viewers were left frustrated by one hard-to-please couple who refused to finish viewing one property.

Scots presenter Jean Johansson was tasked to help potential buyers Alan and Julie find their dream home in Alicante for £140,000 but the couple had high expectations. Channel 4 viewers were left annoyed during the episode and criticised Alan and Julie for 'moaning'.

The couple were unimpressed by all four properties Jean showed them during their search in La Zenia, Alicante, despite the fact the homes offered stunning golf course views and a beach that allowed dogs.

However, Alan and Julie did enjoy the outdoor areas of the third property which boasted a terrace, patio garden area, and a large swimming pool. However, the inside didn't match their excitement and the couple cut the viewing short.

Alan said he didn't get the wow factor and Julie agreed, telling Jean: "I'm not feeling this one." Jean said: "I appreciate the honesty. Is there any point of me showing you around the rest of it?"

Julie firmly answered: "No thank you Jean. I am so sorry."

Julie added: "I think it's for somebody else I don't think it's for us. I'm so sorry Jean. We are thinking about moving out here eventually and I want this to be my home."

The fourth property was rejected by the pair without seeing any of the bedrooms because Alan said it looked like "too much work".

"I'm so sorry but that is just the way I feel, I don't feel that this is right," Julie added. Speaking to viewers, Jean admitted that she was "thrown" by the difficult search.

Viewers took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the guests criteria. "A couple of moaning g*ts, don't know what they want," sniped a Twitter user. Another commented: "Another pair of messers."

A third said: "Near the beach, modern, loads of space and not overlooked. Erm... Not on that budget, guys." Another wrote: "They want to be in the middle of all the nightlife but don't want to be over looked?"
