5 Chiefs earn spot in 2024 Pro Bowl Games

A total of five Kansas City Chiefs players have been selected for the 2024 Pro Bowl Games. The five selections were part of the seven chosen last year to represent the team showing franchise consistency and success.

The familiar names will join a stacked group representing the AFC with tough choices at every position. As usual, the Chiefs hope to send none of these five stars to the Pro Bowl as they hope to return to the Super Bowl for a chance at back-to-back titles. Here are the Chiefs players who have earned the honor of Pro Bowler for the 2023-24 season:

Humphrey was selected for the second consecutive season after being snubbed from the Pro Bowl in 2021, taking his rightful place at center for the AFC. According to PFF, Humphrey has only allowed four sacks and has played 1065 snaps this year, showcasing his fantastic durability.

TE Travis Kelce

This marks Kelce’s ninth consecutive Pro Bowl selection, amongst the longest active streaks in the NFL. So far this season, Kelce has had 93 receptions and five receiving touchdowns and currently stands at 984 yards. He can hit his eighth consecutive season with 1,000 or more receiving yards if he can secure 16 yards this Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers.

QB Patrick Mahomes

The streak continues as Mahomes has been a starter for Kansas City, and every year, he’s been named to the Pro Bowl team. In his sixth consecutive Pro Bowl year, Mahomes had to fight through inconsistent wide receiver play, sickness, and other obstacles to help lead the Chiefs back to the postseason. He isn’t expected to play in Week 18, so his final stat line for the season is 27 passing touchdowns and 14 interceptions for 4,182 yards.

DT Chris Jones

Jones has officially earned his fifth-straight Pro Bowl selection and is the only defensive representative for Kansas City this year. Jones shook off any possible rust following his offseason holdout that carried into Week 1 to secure 9.5 sacks. He often served as the unit’s voice during press conferences throughout the season as the unit became one of the best in the NFL in 2023.

LG Joe Thuney

Thuney was a consistent force this season, adding to his reputation as a rock-solid pass protector. According to PFF, in 1,071 snaps played at left guard, he’s allowed just two sacks on the season. This marks Thuney’s second career Pro Bowl selection.
