4 things to know about Dolphins-Ravens heading into Week 17

The Miami Dolphins are headed back on the road this week, as they’ll take on the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday for a Week 17 battle.

The Dolphins are coming off a last-second win over the Dallas Cowboys to give themselves their first victory over a team with a winning record in 2023. Now, they’ll have to make it two in a row if they want a chance at the top seed in the conference.

Baltimore has been able to succeed through their own injuries this season, putting together a 12-3 record through the first 16 weeks of the season. With Lamar Jackson playing like an MVP candidate, and the defense doing what they can to punish opposing offenses, they’re a group that no one wants to play in the playoffs this year.

However, we figured that we’d provide a few things that the Dolphins and Ravens fanbases should know and think about before the game.

History

The Dolphins are 8-10 all-time against the Ravens and are 3-6 since 2010. Miami is 1-3 at M&T Bank Stadium in that span.

Mike McDaniel’s team won the last meeting between these two teams, which came last September.  In that game, Tua Tagovailoa hit Mike Gesicki, River Cracraft and both Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill twice each for touchdowns, as Miami came back from a 21-point deficit in the fourth quarter.
