Peacefully at home, Monday 23rd Jan, aged 53. Son of late father William McMahon, late mother Minrie McMahon, and late brother Edward McMahon. Survived by brother Alex, uncles, aunts and cousins. Service on Friday 17th February at St Kessogs, 11:30am. Burial at 12:15, VOL Cemetery. Balloch Hotel afterwards.

Passed away peacefully in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital on the 18th February 2023 aged 73. She was a loving wife to the late Harry, Mum to Nicola, Gran to Marisa and Evie, Sister to Pat and Tony, Great Friend to many. Funeral to be held at the Linn Crematorium on 1st March 2023 at 3pm. Peacefully at Forefaulds Care home on 6th February 2023, Bill, beloved husband of Nancy, loving father of Sheila, Linda, William, Lesley and of the late Alister. Adored grandfather and great-grandfather. Funeral Service will take place at South Lanarkshire Crematorium, Blantryre, G72 0TL on Wednesday 1st March at 10am. Family flowers only please. Donations, in lieu of flowers, can be made to Dementia Care East Kilbride or Forefaulds Care Home.

Peacefully after a short illness at Kilbryde Hospice on 6 February 2023, Paul McConnochie. Funeral service will take place at South Lanarkshire Crematorium, Blantyre, G72 0TL on Wednesday 1st March at 3pm.

(Eddie) After a short illness Eddie passed away peacefully at home on the 14th of February 2023 aged 88. Funeral service to be held at South Lanarkshire Crematorium, on Thursday the 9th of March at 1pm. All friends respectfully invited.

Joan WILSON

(Fraser) Peacefully at home on 13th February 2023, surrounded by her family, Joan aged 70, beloved wife of Alasdair, mum of Sharon, Scott and Susanne, Gran of Emma and Beth, Great Gran of Leila, sister of Gordon and great friend to many. Funeral service to take place at South Lanarkshire Crematorium, Blantyre, G72 0TL, on Monday 6th March 2023 at 1pm and thereafter to The Torrance Hotel, East Kilbride. All friends and family respectfully invited. No flowers please. Donations in Joan's name gratefully received at Kilbryde Hospice, East Kilbride.

James MACKIE

Peacefully, on Sunday 12th February 2023, at Hairmyres Hospital, James, aged 85 years, sadly passed away. Beloved Dad to Janis, Pamela and Carole, Father-in-law to Stuart, Stephen and Martin, adored Papa to Stuart, Megan, Eve and Mia and doting Pappie to baby Archie. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday 22nd February, 1pm at Daldowie Crematorium in the East Chapel.

Rita MARTALO

(Pisano) It's with great sadness to announce that, Rita Pisano Martalo, has passed away on the 7th February peacefully in her sleep. She leaves behind her loving husband, Luigi and beloved family. Her funeral service will be held at St. Mary's Church in Hamilton on Monday 20th Feb at 10am, with a reception at the Avonbridge Hotel thereafter. The family wish to suggest a charitable donation to Cancer Research instead of any floral tributes.

Jean MCLAUGHLIN

Peacefully at Hairmyres Hospital, with her family by her side on Monday 6th February 2023, aged 95. Jean, beloved Wife of the late William McLaughlin. Much loved Mother, Gran and Great Gran. Funeral service to be held on Thursday 23rd February at 10am at St Brides R.C. Church Cambuslang, and thereafter at Tollcross Cemetery. Jean will be greatly missed and will remain in our hearts forever.

Duncan Joseph SINCLAIR

Peacefully at Hairmyres Hospital on 22nd January 2023, Duncan, beloved husband of Frances Mary, father of Duncan Ronald, brother of Margaret, Johnny, Lizzie, Tina, Stella and Joe. Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday 21st February at St Leonards RC Church, at 10am. Thereafter to South Lanarkshire Crematorium, Blantyre, G72 0TL. No flowers please. Donations, in lieu of flowers gratefully received on behalf of Medical Aid for Palestine.

Gordon SHEARER

Gordon, aged 81, died at Monklands Hospital, Airdrie on Thursday, 26th January, 2023 after a short illness. Beloved husband of the late Marion, father of David, Euan and the late Audrey; father-in-law of Joan, Karen and Graham; grandfather of Carly, Holly, Robyn, Erin and Callum. A service of thanksgiving to celebrate the life of Gordon is to be held at 10am in South Lanarkshire Crematorium, Blantyre on Monday, February 27, 2023. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to the Multiple Sclerosis Society Scotland.

Ian (John) CADENHEAD

Peacefully at Hairmyres Hospital on 3rd February aged 91 years. Beloved husband of the late Mary, a much-loved dad of James, Alison and Alan, father-in law of Gillian, Colin and Marie and papa of Ava and Jack. Thanks to the staff at Lindsayfield Lodge and Hairmyres Hospital.
